Watch: Kim Kardashian and Nicola Coughlan from Bridgerton shared the cutest Twitter exchange

Kim Kardashian and Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan have shared a heartwarming Twitter exchange that could lead to a face-to-face meeting after the actor told the reality star she 'would love to have her on set'.

Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington in the Netflix series, started the conversation on 20 April, sharing on Twitter that the Featherington family were massively inspired by the Kardashian-Jenner family.

Kardashian responded, asking the Irish actor if she could come to come to a fitting, as it would 'make her life' and Coughlan was all too happy to oblige.

Coughlan tweeted: "Omg yesss of course we would love to have you!"

Kim replied with equal enthusiasm:

Known for her cool, calm and collected manner, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star quote tweeted Coughlan’s tweet and replied in the best way:

“WHAT?!?! I am freaking out!!!!!!”

This is the heartfelt interaction we all need to see right now.

Clearly reeling from the reply and the fact that Kardashian is part of a Bridgerton group chat, the Derry Girls star later tweeted about the interaction in the same way most fans would.

“You know I’ve loved Kim for like over a decade, I can’t even deal," she wrote.

The tweet captioned a GIF of Kim being interviewed during early episodes of KUWTK saying, ‘Is this really happening right now?’

This blossoming friendship began earlier this year when Coughlan reached out to the reality star to recommend the show after she asked if she should watch it.
