Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada said it best, "Groundbreaking!"

Fendi and Versace presented a collaborative capsule and presentation to bring Milan Fashion Week to an exciting close on Sunday night.

Donatella Versace created a Fendi collection, while Fendi's artistic director Kim Jones designed a Versace range. Both collections will be made available in May at both Fendi and Versace boutiques respectively.

But don't call it a collaboration; crossing the ‘party lines’ of luxury conglomerates – and inspired by friendship and mutual professional respect – the double signature of Fendace is a swap, with roles exchanged.

On the fashion runway, the show opened almost like a 'fashion face-off', with supermodels Kate Moss, Amber Valletta, Esther Canadas strutting down the platform in iconic baroque prints and massive safety pins coupled with Fendi's logomania plastered all over the clothing.

A-list names and esteemed friends of each maison from across the world gathered at the front row to celebrate this momentous event.

The likes of iconic British actress and model Elizabeth Hurley and the award-winning American actress and household name, Demi Moore were spotted in attendance, together with actor Evan Mock — break-out star of HBO's Gossip Girl reboot — and Oscar-winning director and close friend of the Fendi maison, Luca Guadagnino, alongside longtime collaborator, model Winnie Harlow. Other renowned stars gathered to celebrate in Milan included the likes of award-winning actress Zoey Deutch, star of acclaimed Netflix show The Politician, digital entrepreneur Chiara Ferragni and her husband, the Italian rapper, singer, and songwriter Fedez.
