'Kill the Bill' Demonstrators Launch Fireworks Outside Police Station in Bristol

Protesters clashed with police and lit fireworks outside the Bridewell Police Station in Bristol, England, on March 21, in response to a new bill which would give police more power to restrict protests.

Under the proposed bill police would have power to restrict protests that were “intentionally or recklessly causing public nuisance,” a government briefing document said.

Footage taken by Sam Steiner shows fireworks exploding above a crowd gathered in front of the station.
