Kilauea Volcano Erupts on Hawaii's Big Island

Timelapse footage taken on Wednesday, September 29, shows the new summit eruption of the Kilauea volcano on Hawaii’s Big Island.

Kilauea’s last bout of eruptions lasted from December 20, 2020, until May 26, 2021.

The United States Geological Survey issued a red warning as they assessed the hazards of the current eruption.
