Khyree Jackson Dies: Minnesota Vikings Rookie Killed In Car Crash, Was 24
NFL draftee Khyree Jackson of the Minnesota Vikings has died from injuries sustained in a car crash in his home town of Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He was 24.
His mother, Ebbony Jackson, confirmed the death to TMZ. She was informed about his death at 4 AM ET today.

Jackson was a cornerback and was selected by the Vikings in the fourth round of this year’s NFL draft. He was the 108th pick. Jackson previously played for the Oregon Ducks and Alabama Crimson Tide.
The Minnesota Vikings’ 2024 training camp will begin on July 27 and run through August 8 at the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center in Eagan, Minnesota.
The Vikings issued a statement on social media.
We are devastated by the news of Khyree Jackson’s death following an overnight car accident. Our thoughts are with Khyree’s family, friends, teammates and coaches, as well as all the victims of this tragic accident. 💔💔💔
The team’s head coach also responded.
