Khairul Aming gets high praise for speech as Creator of the Year
28 Aug – Not only did he win Content Creator of the Year, Khairul Aming also won praises for his speech at the Tik Tok Malaysia Awards.
The digital creator, real name Khairul Amin Kamarulzaman, bagged the biggest award of the night, besting other contenders including Ceddy Ang, Noor Suhaili Mohamed Amin (Aunty Purple) and Nur Salihah Aimuni (Sally Whoo)
Thanking his family, relatives, friends, teachers, fans, as well as his Sambal Nyet team, Khairul took time to relay his message to the youngsters of today, saying how important it is for one to continue their studies and educate themselves to be a good content creator.
"Even if you plan to be a content creator, you have to remember that being a content creator is not just about going viral. To have a long-term relevance in the industry, you need a lot of knowledge, critical thinking, problem solving, good morals, common sense," he expressed to a thunderous applause.
He added, "So be a great next generation content creator that can further develop our country."
Many took to the comments, especially teachers and educators, to thank the content creator for his meaningful speech.
One stated, "Congratulations!!! What an amazing speech, I will definitely show this to my students. They always thought that being a content creator needs nothing but viral but you prove them wrong."
Another expressed, "Thank you, KA. I hope whichever students who don't want to study because they think being an influencer doesn't need higher education will learn something. I will download this speech and show it in class."
