KHAIRUDDIN AMAN RAZALI NAMED MINISTER OF PLANTATION INDUSTRIES AND COMMODITIES

KUALA LUMPUR, March 9 (Bernama) -- Datuk Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali has been appointed as the Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities in the new Cabinet led by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

The member of Parliament for Kuala Nerus (PAS) since 2013, Khairuddin was a lecturer at the International Islamic University Malaysia from 1999 to 2002 and at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) from 2002 to 2008.

He was born in Kg Seberang Takir, Kuala Terengganu, on Dec 9, 1973, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Arabic Language and Literature from the University of Jordan in 1996.

He obtained a master’s in Arabic Language and Literature from the Aal Al-Bayt University in Mafraq, Jordan, in 2000 before completing his PhD in Islamic Studies at UKM the following year.

Khairuddin was Information Chief of PAS Ulama Council for the 2013/2015 term and a member of PAS Working Committee for the 2015-2017 and 2017-2019 terms.
