Kevin Costner Makes Rare Appearance with 5 of His Kids as They Walk Red Carpet at Cannes Film Festival

Costner is dad to seven kids — Annie, Lily, Joe, Liam, Cayden, Hayes and Grace

Kevin Costner's kids stepped out to support him at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival.

On Sunday, May 19, the Yellowstone alum, 69, posed on the red carpet with five of his seven kids as they attended the screening of his new film Horizon: An American Saga, which received a 10-minute standing ovation.

The star wore a black suit and bowtie, standing in between son Hayes, 15, and Grace, 13. Next to Grace, daughter Annie, 40, posed next to son Cayden, 17, while daughter Lily, 37, stood on the other side of Hayes. The family smiled as they posed together for the rare moment, getting ready to head into the venue.

As he took to the stage to address the crowd once the screening finished, Costner shared that the event was made extra special by his kids' attendance.

"I'll never forget this," the star told the audience, where his kids sat front row. "Neither with my children. They all look so beautiful, dressed up so nice, the women, the men. They're so handsome."

Costner shares daughters Annie and Lily, as well as son Joe, 36, with ex-wife Cindy Silva. He is dad to son Liam, 26, with ex Bridget Rooney, and shares his kids Cayden, Hayes and Grace with ex-wife Christine Baumgartner.

In August, Costner spent time with one of his sons as they attended a day of Dallas Cowboys training camp, posting a photo on his Instagram. Walking across the field, Costner wore a white shirt buttoned to his elbows and strides alongside his son, who wore a blue T-shirt and jeans.

"Had a ball at #CowboysCamp with my son," he wrote in the caption. "Thank you @dallascowboys for having us!"

On May 1, 2023, Baumgartner filed for divorce from the Dances with Wolves star after 18 years of marriage.

In September, the former couple settled their divorce after a contentious legal battle over several months.

"Kevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings," a rep for Costner said in a joint statement for the duo.

Over those four-plus months, Costner and Baumgartner appeared in court to hash out details and payments over everything from the timeline of Baumgartner moving out of their family compound in Santa Barbara, California, to child-support payments from the Field of Dreams actor.
