Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick Dance in Kitchen as Part of Viral 'Beckham Test' Challenge: 'Did We Pass?'
The pair were inspired by an online trend based on a moment in David and Victoria Beckham's recent Netflix doc 'Beckham'
Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are channeling David Beckham and Victoria Beckham with their dance moves.
On Wednesday, Bacon, 65, and Sedgwick, 58, shared a video on Instagram showing themselves dancing together while cleaning dishes in their kitchen.
Footloose star Bacon can be seen in the video getting in sync with Sedgwick's dance moves to the beat of Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers's 1983 duet "Islands in the Stream."
"Did we pass the Beckham test?" Bacon and Sedgwick wrote in the caption, referencing a now-viral trend that originated with Beckham's recent Netflix docuseries Beckham.
Social media users began using the Parton and Rogers song on social media in reference to a moment in the docuseries in which David, 48, is seen joining Victoria, 49, as she dances to the song in their kitchen.
The longtime couple are no strangers to taking part in internet dance trends, having participated in a 2022 Footloose-themed TikTok trend and jammed out to Taylor Swift's "Karma" together back in April.
Bacon and Sedgwick celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in September. The couple, who share son Travis, 34, and daughter Sosie, 31, met on the set of the PBS movie Lemon Sky in 1987 and were engaged by the end of that year.
