Kerry Katona has claimed her 14-year-old daughter Heidi has been subjected to abuse at her new school due to her famous mother.

It comes as the 40-year-old’s children have had to change schools as the family has relocated to Chester but she’s said Heidi, whose father is her second husband Mark Croft, has had a “s*** time” due to other pupils.

"She's made some good friends but some of the boys have been horrible to her,” the mother-of-five wrote in her New! magazine column.

"They were teasing her about me and saying some really crude things just because I'm in the public eye.

"She came home in tears. It's disgusting. It's hard enough moving away, never made having to deal with that."

Katona added that she was considering moving Heidi to the private school that her older sisters attended.

The former Atomic Kitten member has daughters Molly, 19, and Lilly, 18, with ex-husband Brian McFadden, as well as son Max, 13, with Croft and daughter Dylan-Jorge with late third husband George Kay.

Katona is set to tie the knot with fourth husband personal trainer Ryan Mahoney after he proposed last year.

She recently shared that she was feeling “massive anxiety” toward her upcoming nuptials due to the three previous marriages not working out.

However, Katona reckons it’s different this time around as she relies on herself for her own happiness and Mahoney “adds to it” instead of "taking it away".
