Kenneth Ma happy for "Speakers of Law" high viewership

26 May – Kenneth Ma can now breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that his latest drama was able to still achieve a high rating despite it being aired right after his other series, "The Invisibles".

As reported on Mingpao, the series, "Speakers of Law" was recently celebrated for doing well in the ratings, earning 22.9 points overall, and 25.3 points for its finale, becoming the drama with the highest viewership this year.

Sharing that he is happy to hear the news, Kenneth said, "At first I was worried about having two dramas being aired back-to-back, since it meant that it would be too frequent and the viewers would get bored. But it seems that the audience's viewing habits have changed, so it was a pleasant surprise to see the ratings."

Kenneth added that he is happy that the show is well-received by the audience, and that it being his drama is just purely luck on his part.

As to whether there will be a sequel to "Speakers of Law", the actor said that there is no plan for such for the time being.

On the other hand, the actor said that he is currently working on his new drama, "The Queen of News", which is also the comeback vehicle for actress Charmaine Sheh.
