Kay Tse thankful to win three awards from RTHK
24 Jan – Kay Tse has recently taken to social media to express her happiness over her win at the RTHK 42nd Top Ten Chinese Gold Song Awards.
The singer shared a photo of her with one of her accolades that she won from the said awards, writing, "Thank you RTHK for the acknowledgement. Thank you to my team for your effort in the past year."
"Again, I am grateful to everybody for loving the album series," she added.
Kay previously won three awards from the Top Ten Chinese Gold Song Awards, including Most Excellent Female Singer, as well as the Top Ten Gold Song for "Actually Lonely".
In her speech, which was aired through a special programme, Kay said that she has always been a person who cares very much about the kind of songs she sings, and whether or not it would represent her as an artiste.
"If I can't connect to a song, or the subject doesn't move me, there is no way for me to sing it," she added.
