Katy Perry Rocks an Itty Bitty Zebra Print Bikini in Her Music Video for "Lifetimes"
It's a zebra print world and we're lucky to be living in it.
It's a shame that Love Island is over for the year, because Katy Perry just released a song that was practically made to blasted out during a montage of islanders partying it up in the villa. After what was, shall we say, a tepid response to her most recent single "Woman's World," the pop star has dropped "Lifetime," the second single from her upcoming album, 143 — and, alongside this late entry for song of the summer, she's blessed us with a music video at the same time.
In the new video, Perry dances and sings her way around the beaches, clubs, and streets of Ibiza, as she embraces the party lifestyle—and naturally, she's got the perfect beachwear wardrobe for the occasion. Just take her itty bitty zebra print bikini, which she pairs with layered beaded necklaces and white sunglasses. In some clips, she throws on a mesh, see-through beach dress over the bikini, along with a very Y2K disc belt, which she wears around her hips.
Elsewhere in the video, Perry dons a strapless brown patterned bikini along with a mesh midi sarong around her waist. A third outfit change sees Perry hopping aboard a motorcycle in a silver, armor-like mini dress with a halter neck.
So far, it seems that Perry's upcoming album really is all about the summery, beachy vibes. Last month, the singer was spotted partying on a yacht in what can only be described as Pirate Girl style—and honestly, the outfit looks like something straight out of her latest video. A few weeks earlier, she rung in July the Fourth in a bedazzled American flag bikini, which also featured in her music video for "Woman's World." As for her recent evening wear looks, Perry's been wearing sexy, party-ready outfits, like this barely-there lacy maxi skirt.
During an appearance on BBC's The One Show, Perry revealed that her 3-year-old daughter Daisy, whom she shares with Orlando Bloom, actually inspired her new single. "I tell my daughter, obviously, I love you, before she goes to bed every night, but I've started telling her, Will you find me in every lifetime? and she says, Yes!" said Perry.
