Katie Holmes Endorsed Kamala Harris for President With the Perfect Fall Outfit

Because voting is 'InStyle.'

It's officially election season, and if you were looking for the perfect outfit to wear to the polls, look no further. Katie Holmes turned a fail-proof fall 'fit formula into stylish voting attire while also revealing who she's voting for this year.

On Wednesday, the actress and director was spotted in New York City in a navy-blue Lingua Franca sweater sharing her endorsement for presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris. The knit piece was completed with pink stitching that read "Harris Walz 2024" across the chest and layered over a high-neck button-up with a ruffled collar that peeked out the top of the crewneck. She styled the top with stone-washed jeans and brown combat boots. Black rectangular shades and an oversized cognac tote bag accessorized the look. Holmes appeared to be sporting a wet-hair look that was deeply parted to the side.

Back in 2020, Holmes also supported the Joe Biden and Harris campaign and revealed her vote with an Instagram post with the hashtag "#BidenHarris2020."

Whether she's filling out her ballot or heading to work, a sweater and button-up shirt is a go-to combo for the star who was spotted in a similar street style look earlier this month. She was photographed in a chunky knit cardigan, white collared top, baggy jeans, and a slouchy brown bag.

When she's not being the face of NY street style, Holmes knows how to shut down a red carpet. Take her appearance at the 2024 CFDA Awards, for example. Just earlier this week, the Dawson's Creek alum showed up in a color-block, cut-out gown with a plunging back and coquette detail.

She accessorized the Carolina Herrera piece (from the Spring/Summer 2025 collection) with ruby and pink gemstone drop earrings and a simple black clutch bag to tie in the black bow that nearly touched the ground.
