Schwarzenegger Pratt shares her daughters Lyla and Eloise Christina, 23 months, with husband Chris Pratt, 44.
As for her previous Mother's Days, Schwarzenegger Pratt says that because her daughters are still young, most of the holiday planning falls on her husband's shoulders.
"Last year they all brought me coffee in bed, which was very luxurious because I usually am the first one up in our household because I like to get up before everybody to give myself a moment before the kids all wake up," she tells PEOPLE.
"So that was really nice. And I'm really lucky my husband is so supportive and kind of is always in a mode of saying to me how great I'm doing in motherhood and how we are such a great team," Schwarzenegger Pratt continues. "I think just being able to take the moments of popping in character and being like, 'This is amazing, this such a gift from God to be able to do this together.'"
"It requires you to be in the moment and be present and he's really great at that. And so on Mother's Day, he does that pretty much throughout the entire day. And then he's always like, 'Go for a walk, I'll watch the girls.' He's the best dad. So I'm really lucky."
Of course, Schwarzenegger Pratt will take time to celebrate her own mom on Mother's Day.
"Even though I'm a mom now, it's still really important to still be with my mom on Mother's Day," she says of Shriver. "Every Mother's Day, we usually start it off by going to church and we go to church as a group together, and then we usually have brunch together every Sunday."
"Both of my girls love just spending time and going on walks with my mom, so we'll go for a walk," Schwarzenegger Pratt adds. "The girls love to do artwork for my mom, and so we'll do artwork for her and we have some that's already done, and write on it what their favorite things are about my mom. And it's even more entertaining as they get older because the things that they say are just wild about different people."
Above all else, Schwarzenegger Pratt is happy to have her family all together for the holiday.
"It's been fun to also be able to incorporate our girls into Mother's Day and to have them also celebrate my mom as a grandma on Mother's Day is really fun and sweet. But I love Mother's Day because we spend the whole day as a family, and if I could, I would all live under one roof with my family."
"So it's a fun and beautiful day," she adds. "I'm really excited about it."
