While Kate Middleton's red-hot Catherine Walker cape coat may be the headline-stealing moment from today's South Korean state visit to the United Kingdom, the Cambridges shared a super-sweet moment that flew under the radar when compared to Kate's show-stopping crimson outfit (fascinator included). People reports that during a private lunch held by King Charles III to welcome President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife, first lady Kim Keon Hee, at the start of their stay, Princess Kate and Prince William shared a super-sweet PDA moment where they touched each other's backs.

It was all captured in a video by journalist Rebecca English, who shared the clip to X via the Daily Mail. In the video, William put his hand on his wife's back as they made their way out of the Picture Gallery. Just a moment later, Kate smiled and returned the favor. The Prince and Princess of Wales continued the sweet gesture for a bit before they went along with their royal duties.

Royal etiquette expert Myka Meier previously told the publication that there are no actual rules regarding the royals and PDA — it's all up to them and, if William and Kate have a say about it, it's totally fine, especially as royal fans soak up the love between the two.

"Senior members of the royal family would likely not be told how to interact or when they can or can not show PDA and would be trusted to use their better judgment as to when it's appropriate," Meier said. "The royals often adjust PDA to mirror the formality of the event they are attending. At a somber or more formal event, we are less likely to see PDA than at a casual event where it would be deemed more fitting."
