Kate Middleton has yet to make an appearance at Wimbledon, but her parents Carole and Michael Middleton are representing the family.

On Thursday, July 4, the Princess of Wales' parents attended day four of the prestigious Grand Slam tournament. Her mother, Carole, 69, wore a long, high-neck floral dress paired with a white blazer, sunglasses and kitten heels, while her father Michael, 75, looked classically elegant in a navy blue suit jacket and yellow tie.

Princess Kate, 42, was not in attendance with her parents, as she continues undergoing chemotherapy amid her cancer diagnosis, which she shared with the world in March.

After she had a "planned abdominal surgery," post-operative tests found that "cancer had been present," she announced in an emotional personal video, adding that she was in "the early stages of" chemotherapy.

In June, she made her first public appearance in six months as she attended King Charles' birthday parade with her husband, Prince William, and their three children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

Days later, her parents were seen for the first time since she shared her health news as they attended day two of the Royal Ascot at the Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, England. Carole and Michael were there alongside their daughter's husband — who was photographed helping his mother-in-law as her shoe got stuck in the grass on the course.

Questions remain as to whether the Princess of Wales will make an appearance at Wimbledon this year, as she has become something of a regular at the annual tournament and is known for awarding trophies, per her duty as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Wimbledon organizers are reportedly hopeful that she'll continue the tradition this year, but she has yet to make an appearance.

Last year, not only was Kate's fashion the talk of the tournament, but she had her own viral moment as her impressive focus on the match in front of her snagged the attention of fans on TikTok.
