The Bride Wars star, 44, makes a surprise appearance on Thursday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. In the clip, the daytime talk show host, 48, and her guest, Michelle Pfeiffer, are playing a game of truth or dare.

Barrymore lands a dare, and is instructed by Ross Mathews to “Call the most famous person in your phone right now.”

After a brief pause, seemingly trying to decide who to dial, she comes up with an A-lister suitable for the challenge.

“I don’t really know. Kate Hudson, should we call Kate Hudson?” the Charlie’s Angels alum asks as her studio audience cheers her on. Pfeiffer, 65, then takes the dare up a notch and suggests that the ladies “FaceTime” her instead.

The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress answers, but has her camera off. “Kate Hudson, it’s Drew and Michelle Pfeiffer FaceTiming you,” she said.

“The dare was to call someone in my phone, and I was like, I know one person who’s the coolest who will be so cool and fun.”

“You guys caught me with my driving gloves on, these are my driving gloves,” Hudson replies. The actress, who is behind the wheel at the time, holds up her cell phone to show a red hand glove.

Pfeiffer compliments her on the accessory, with Barrymore adding, “You’re so cool.”

“I decided no sun spots on my hands,” a smiling Hudson says, continuing to display the protective gear.

The Henry Rose founder jokes that although the gloves are a good start, Hudson may want to rethink the design a bit. “Well, you will get some in that little circle,” she says as the other two actresses laugh.

Before wrapping the call, Hudson agrees with Pfeiffer about the exposed portion of her skin.

Last month, Barrymore opened up to PEOPLE about taking care of her skin and explained why she has yet to undergo any cosmetic procedures.

"I haven't done anything, and I'm going to maintain that as long as possible," the Garnier Nutrisse brand ambassador said. "I have zero judgment for anyone doing anything. But I don't see myself resorting to it."

"And, I look forward to seeing what I look like as a leather bag in the future!" she quipped.

The Wedding Singer actress added that another reason she’s chosen to steer clear of making adjustments is because “I worry I'd continue to chase it, get this and that done."

When it comes to aging, her takeaway is simple. "It means you're alive, you're living, and that's a really good thing," she said. "Embracing aging is such positive, healthy messaging."
