Kate Chastain Celebrates First Halloween as a Mom – and Jokes About Son's Future Embarrassment
The former reality star is mom to 5-month-old son, Sullivan
Kate Chastain can’t hold back her excitement about spending her first Halloween with her son.
On Tuesday, the Below Deck alumna, 40, shared a video of her 5-month-old son, Sullivan Cay, who was all smiles as he celebrated his first-ever Halloween.
In the video, posted to her Instagram Story, her baby son was dressed in a multi-colored bird onesie fitted out with wings, a hood and a beak.
"100 percent showing these photos to his first date when he's a teenager," Chastain wrote below the short video as her son's face broke out in a smile.
She added Nelly Furtado's 2000 hit "I'm Like A Bird" as a background song to the post, too.

In mid-October, the former reality star also took to Instagram to show her fans how excited she was to enjoy the start of fall with her son. A video she posted shows Sullivan tucked comfortably in the front of her overalls as she stands outdoors by the docks.
“It dropped below 90 degrees today so obviously we’re out celebrating the start of Fall 🍂🍁,” she captioned the post.

PEOPLE reported news of Chastain’s pregnancy exclusively in December 2022, where the discussed her desire to have a child of her own.
"I am absolutely thrilled to become a mother," the reality star said at the time. "It's something I've always hoped for, so this is truly a dream come true!"
Later, while appearing on the Watch What Happens Live after show, Chastain — who has not publicly revealed the identity of her son's father — said she was planning to raise Sullivan on her own. "I'm doing it solo and perhaps with some help, but I'm happy to do it alone," she told host Andy Cohen.
In January 2023, the Below Deck Galley Talk star got emotional while appearing on WWHL when she revealed that she wasn’t sure she would get to experience motherhood. After Cohen, 55, asked her if she “always wanted a kid,” she told him, "I did but I wasn't sure if it was going to happen for me, so I just feel so lucky."
