Kate Beckinsale is rocking a major hair transformation — and she did it seemingly overnight.

On Tuesday, Beckinsale attended Elle’s Women in Hollywood celebration with her long brown hair styled in a massive messy bun. The very next day she stepped out at the Roger Vivier Holiday Dinner looking almost unrecognizable with a striking blonde bob.

Skeptics who assumed Beckinsale was wearing a wig might be confused to find that the star was still looking very blonde on Thursday. Beckinsale wore her chic new look at The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment gala in Beverly Hills, along with a white minidress.

Beckinsale gave the hairstyle its Instagram debut on Thursday, posing in the all-red look she wore at the Roger Vivier Holiday Dinner.

Her hair stylist Dimitris Giannetos, who styled Beckinsale’s new look, kept it simple in the actress’s comments, writing “HOTNESS.” Giannetos also coined a new name for the look — the “blob.”

Latvian designer Ramona Agruma praised Beckinsale in the comments as well, commenting “Omg! Blond looks so good on you 😍,” to which Beckinsale asked, “am I Latvian yet ?” In response, Agruma commented that Beckinsale looks “classy English 😘.”

Beckinsale was last seen with a platinum bob in her 2021 film Jolt.

The actress’s hairstyle is the latest of a number of bold style moves from the star. In November, Beckinsale celebrated Leonardo DiCaprio’s birthday in a minidress resembling the sapphire necklace in Titanic. Last week, the star wore a wow-worthy sheer dress at Paris Hilton’s Slivmas party.
