Karen Mok wins Best Song for "Breathing is Hazardous "
18 Jan – Karen Mok has recently won two Best Song awards for her song, "Breathing is Hazardous", Mingpao reported.
The singer, who released the said song during the height of the pandemic last year, received the Gold Prize at the TVB Jade Solid Gold Awards on 17 January, as well as the Global Chinese Ultimate Gold Song at the 43rd Top Ten Chinese Gold Song awards, which was aired the night before.

Speaking about the creation of the song, Karen stated that it was born under the pandemic, and was compatible with the situation that everybody was going through at the time.
"The whole world was suddenly shifting and changing and everybody can resonate with that," she said.
Karen stated that as a singer who has been working in the industry for many years, it is crucial that she could bring joy to everybody amid the pain.
She also took to Instagram to express her happiness over the honour, writing, "Where words fail, music speaks."
