Kansas Man Trapped by Flood Waters Rescued from Vehicle
A man was safely rescued after being trapped in his car for almost ten hours due to intense flooding in southeast Kansas on May 22.
According to reports, the family members of the man trapped inside the vehicle reached out to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s office to file a missing persons report.
Local resident Micah Songer arrived to help search for the missing man and was able to use his drone to assist in finding the missing vehicle. Emergency crews determined the location of the car and the man trapped inside and rescue him from the water. The rescued man was taken to a hospital in the area to be treated, according to reports.
