Kangaroo Works Out With Stuffed Elephant at Wildlife Rescue Center

A playful kangaroo had a blast with a hanging stuffed elephant toy at a wildlife sanctuary in Mount Colliery, Queensland, Australia, which her carers had set up to help the young marsupial fine-tune her balance and kicking skills

Claudia Thorne, who helps rehabilitate animals with rescue service Wally’s Wildlife, recorded this footage of the roo, named Miss Peanut. The eastern grey kangaroo hops around and pushes a plush toy, dubbed Elle the Elephant.

“Miss Peanut is showing a little more interest in Elle the last couple of days,” Wally’s World wrote on a Facebook post. “Elle the elephant helps the girls with balance and kicking skills.” Credit: Claudia Ann Marie Thorne via Storyful
