Kaman Kong withdraws from "Barrack O'Karma 2"

30 Sep – Kaman Kong recently revealed that she has decided to withdraw from the upcoming drama, "Barrack O'Karma 2".

As reported on Mingpao, the TVB actress shared the news on social media, thanking the producer and scriptwriter for giving her a role in the series and revealing that she will not be able to perform alongside the cast of the sequel of the hit 2019 series despite thinking that she could do two dramas back-to-back.

"At this stage, I will focus on "Seven Princesses"," she added.

Speaking to the media following her announcement, Kaman revealed that she was originally scheduled to begin filming the said series after "Seven Princesses" wraps up, but found that the drama has yet to conclude filming due to previous delays due to the resurgence of COVID-19 cases.

"The shooting for "Barrack O'Karma 2" started in early September and I was supposed to have short hair for my character. I've already cut my hair for it. But the schedule overlaps for half a month. It's a pity that I won't get to participate," she said.

However, Kaman stated that she doesn't know who will be replacing her in the series.
