Kaley Cuoco Shares Adorable Photo of Daughter Matilda Ahead of Mother’s Day Reunion: 'See You Soon'

It’s almost Mother's Day, and Kaley Cuoco is ready to see her little one!

The Big Bang Theory alum, 38, is gearing up to celebrate the holiday on Sunday, May 12, for the second time as a mom, and she can’t wait to reunite with her 1-year-old daughter, Matilda.

On May 11, the actress dedicated a post to her little girl, who has been staying with her dad, Ozark actor Tom Pelphrey, while he works on the East Coast, Cuoco previously told PEOPLE.

In the Instagram Stories post, Cuoco shared a smiley snapshot of the toddler, and wrote, “See you soon my [perfect] little bub.”

Cuoco and Pelphrey, who first confirmed their relationship in May 2022, welcomed Matilda in March 2023, announcing her birth on Instagram.

"We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle 💓," Cuoco wrote at the time. "We are blessed beyond belief 💗 @tommypelphrey didn't think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did 💗."

To celebrate her first Mother’s Day as a new mom in May 2023, the actress shared a sweet video of the “best first Mother's Day wakeup ever,” featuring a then-1-month-old Matilda.

In the clip, Cuoco approached her crib, cooing, "Good morning! Hello!" as her daughter greeted her with a big smile.

"Did you make me a mommy? Is it Mommy's Day?" she said in the video as Matilda continued her toothless grin. "Thank you for making me a mommy! I love you!"

Cuoco also marked the milestone with a family photo: herself and Pelphrey, 41, holding Matilda as the trio posed together poolside.

This year, the family will be together again for the holiday. While speaking exclusively with PEOPLE on May 9, the actress revealed that she has been missing Matilda while she's been staying with her dad on the East Coast.

"Matilda is just the most special thing in the world. So I miss her a lot and I’ve been without her for a week so I'm ready to head back," she said.

The star also shared that Matilda loves spending time with her dad while he's filming, joking: "'Dad, dad,' everything 'Dad dad dad dad'... all she says is dad, dada.' It's her favorite frickin’ word.”

“I'm like, 'Do you know the word mama? Have you ever heard it?' But it's all 'Dad. Dad. Dad,’” she added.

Speaking to the couple’s plans for their second Mother’s Day, Cuoco shared that it was her turn to make the trek so the family could be together on the holiday.

"I am going to go out there. I'm gonna go to the East Coast on Saturday and we're going to spend Mother's Day together,” she told PEOPLE, adding, "He actually flew home to see me last Mother's Day, so I'm going to be there … It's really sweet.”
