KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 27 (Bernama) -- JV Evolution Sdn Bhd (JVESB) director told the High Court today that he did not know the RM3.09 million from several cheques cashed at a bank branch in Jelapang, Perak was given to former Felda chairman Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad.
Azizi Abd Wahab, 53, said the money had been handed over to the former Gegasan Abadi Properties Sdn Bhd (GAPSB) board member Ikhwan Zaidel in nine meetings at different locations.
"I only deal with Ikhwan. I have never met or dealt with Tan Sri Isa Samad.
"I only met Muhammad Zahid Md Arip (Mohd Isa's special officer) when I introduced Ikhwan to Muhammad Zahid and also during my visit to the Merdeka Palace Hotel & Suites (MPHS) in Kuching, Sarawak," he said during the examination in-chief by deputy public prosecutor S.Nithtia.
Azizi said this when reading out his witness statement on the 12th day of Mohd Isa's trial for criminal breach of trust and corruption involving more than RM3 million in the purchase of MPHS worth RM160 million.

Mohd Isa, 70, is facing one count of criminal breach of trust (CBT) and nine counts of receiving graft involving more than RM3 million in connection with a hotel purchase by the Felda Investment Corporation Sdn Bhd (FIC) in Kuching, Sarawak.
The offences were allegedly committed at the Felda Tower, Platinum Park, No. 11, Persiaran KLCC here, between April 29, 2014 and Dec 11, 2015.
The trial before Justice Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali continues tomorrow.
