Justin Timberlake is back on tour!
Ending a five-year hiatus, the 10-time Grammy award winner has returned to stage for his Forget Tomorrow World Tour.
Night one of the more than 50 city tour began in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at Rogers Arena on Monday, April 29. According to a press release, Timberlake, 43, delivered two hours of back-to-back timeless hits and new favorites off his new sixth studio album, Everything I Thought It Was.
His medley style performance of 29 songs across two stages included a stacked set of fan-favorites like “My Love,” “Cry Me a River,” “Suit & Tie,” “Rock Your Body,” “SexyBack” and more.
There was also live debuts of “Technicolor,” “Infinity Sex,” “Imagination,” “Drown,” “My Favorite Drug,” “F---in' Up the Disco,” “Play,” and “Flame” from his new album, which was released on March 15.
The project includes an *NSYNC collaboration as well.
And for the first time since 2007, Timberlake performed “Future Sex/LoveSounds,” “Let the Groove Get In,” and “What Goes Around... Comes Around.”
Live Nation’s Instagram account shared footage from night one, which featured the Trolls talent doing choreography with dancers underneath a massive rotating 3-D hologram of his head singing along.
“Justin Timberlake kicked off The Forget Tomorrow World Tour at Rogers Arena in Vancouver tonight! Sexy is BACK 🔥,” the company captioned the post.
“It was worthy every dollar. Just go!” one fan wrote in the comment section.
The night ended with a performance of “Mirrors” where Timberlake floated over the audience on the LED screen of tiny mirrors. The screen tilted in multiple angles allowing the Alpha Dog alum to lean towards the crowd during the last chorus singalong.
The next dates for the Live Nation-produced tour are in Seattle, Washington for back-to-back nights on Thursday, May 2, and Friday, May 3, at Climate Pledge Arena and continues with arena shows across the globe from May through December.
