Justin Bieber on why Hailey Bieber wants to wait to have kids
Justin Bieber has opened up about why wife Hailey Bieber wants to wait to have children, revealing she has career goals she wants to hit first. Makes total sense, to be fair.
Justin, 26, and Hailey, 24, are pretty much the coolest couple in celebsville. After the singer proposed to Hailey in July 2018, the pair tied the knot the following October, before having a big ceremony a year later.
And, unsurprisingly, fans are totally obsessed with everything the couple do. From their cosy Instagram pics and incredible fashion shoots to their wedding video. Many are even hoping there will be some little Baldwin-Biebers on the way soon.
Something which Justin says is on the cards, but not any time soon. "I’m going to have as many [kids] as Hailey is wishing to push out," Justin said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (via JustJared).
"I’d love to have myself a little tribe. But, it’s her body and whatever she wants to do… I think she wants to have a few. At least two or three."
Speaking of why the pair weren't yet expanding their family, the 26-year-old continued, "I think Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman and I think she is just not ready yet. And I think that’s okay."
Too right.
This comes as Hailey recently opened up about how she wanted to raise her children with Justin. She told Vogue India, "They will be raised knowing how to treat people, why we don’t say certain things, and why we respect and acknowledge and give credit where credit is due."
Hailey also reflected on the experience of growing up with famous parents, with her dad being the actor Steven Baldwin. She explained, "To be honest, I don’t really think I was ever famous. Of course, my father was an actor and he was famous to an extent… [But] I got to grow up and get my driver’s licence and really be normal until the past three years of my life.
"But if I was to compare how I grew up to how Justin did, he’s had a way crazier 'famous' experience really young."
