Spielberg’s groundbreaking Jurassic Park redefined the summer blockbuster when it was released in June 1993 and changed the culture forever. Since then, the Universal-Amblin franchise has created six films that have earned more than $6 billion worldwide.

The film has plenty of star power, through years going back to the original Jurassic Park, the series has been known to launch newcomers careers. Whether it was Joseph Mazzelo in the first film or Nick Robinson and Tye SImpkins in Jurassic World, the younger actor has been just as important to the story as the A-lister and this seems to be the same case. While everyone else was offered roles straight up, Blaise, beat out a number of actors for the role, in what had become one of the more sought after roles for rising stars.

Executive Vice President of Production Development Sara Scott and Creative Executive of Production Development Jacqueline Garell will oversee the project for the Studio.

Blaise is known for her work as ‘Olive Stone’ in the global hit drama Manifest, where she starred opposite Melissa Roxburgh and Josh Dallas in the hit Netflix series for four seasons. Most recently she was seen on the big screen in the coming-of-age film, Deltopia, where she stars as the lead ‘Hannah,’ opposite Madison Pettis, and the screen adaptation of the award-winning young adult novel, Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, led by an all-star cast and executive produced by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Kyra Sedgwick. Past acting credits include Vladimir de Fontenay and Nina Ljeti’s independent film Memoria, and ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat. She was also honored with a Young Artist Award for “Recurring Young Actress” in 2016 for her work on the show.

She is represented by CAA, Scope Entertainment and Schreck Rose Dapello Adams Berlin & Dunham.
