Julie and the Phantoms star Madison Reyes certainly could not have imagined what this year would have looked like. Especially now, in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic and with her first series out in the world, the most unexpected things are expected to happen. Thanks to her new show, she is now part of the ever-growing Netflix family, she is also now a part of the great Kenny Ortega Universe.

"There aren't words to truly describe how incredibly grateful I am that Kenny saw something in me. I had never expected that something like this could happen to someone like me. I didn't even have that much experience and yet he saw that thing that I saw in myself that I was kind of hoping that someone else would see as well," she said in an exclusive interview with Seventeen.

As evident in the show's first season, Kenny Ortega loves to keep the same people around him, so it probably wouldn't be too surprising if some familiar faces joined in next season. With multiple projects like Hocus Pocus to Descendants, it's probably super hard to pick just one. However, based on Madison's love for High School Musical, it's not too surprising that she chose an alum from the film series as her top pick to join in on the fun on the set of Julie and the Phantoms.

"Vanessa [Hudgens], she's amazing! Vanessa is somebody that I looked up to since High School Musical first came out. Watching her, she was the person who inspired me to even want to pursue this dream and go out and want to be a performer and an actress. To be able to meet her and have her have a little cameo on the show would be really cool. Maybe as a teacher or something," she said.

Kenny Ortega noted that anything is possible when it comes to this show, especially since he already has three alumni from the Descendants series who joined in on the fun.

"To have Jadah Marie, Booboo Stewart and Cheyenne Jackson [from the Descendants seres] join us for season one was just such a high. All three of them brought such incredible good energy and professionalism and are such generous actors and people. I've been very fortunate in my career, all the way dating back to my first movies like Hocus Pocus. Working with Kathy Najimy and Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker and the years of music working with Gloria Estefan and Celia Cruz. I don't know what's going to come in season two, but I hope that it offers me the opportunity to invite more folks that I have worked with because I love them. I'm grateful to them and I think that they would have a lot of fun working with this incredible young lady here," Kenny added during the interview.

Start making your dream lists, Julie and the Phantoms fans! Cause it looks like Kenny Ortega just might make them come true.
