Julianne Hough and Danny Amendola's Flirty 'DWTS' Moment Was Pretty Spicy

Season 33 of Dancing With the Stars is officially over, but we're still talking about a few surprises and scandalous finale moments. One example came courtesy of former NFL player Danny Amendola. During the November 26 finale, Amendola and dance partner Witney Carson performed to a Barbie-inspired freestyle, completing the number by meeting atop a prop bed designed to look like Ken's Mojo Dojo Casa House from the film. Like every other dance duo that evening, they subsequently met with Julianne Hough to receive their scores.

"How is it dancing as Ken?" Hough asked Amendola. The athlete cheekily responded, "I think the real question, Julianne, is why are you in my bed?" Carson looked way, saying an awkward "Oh," but Hough was quick with a comeback. "Is that an invitation?" she asked Amendola, laughing and adding, "Let's get your scores!"

While there have been rumors of Amendola dating TikToker Xandra Pohl—he told E! News in September that Pohl is "great friend of mine"—Hough recently revealed that she is ready to date again. "Well, you know, I am single,” she said during the November 19 episode of Dancing With the Stars. “And I’m looking for a guy anywhere I can find one.”

Athletes appear to be Hough's type. She was previously married to former NHL player Brooks Laich and finalized her divorce from him in 2022. The dancer has previously stated that she identifies as "not straight," but does want a relationship with a man.

“I feel as if I am going to be with a man,” Hough said on the September 23 episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show. “I would like to have a partner and build a life with somebody, have a family. My heart is open.”
