Julia Fox Says She's Been Celibate for Over Two Years
The 'Uncut Gems' actress has previously been romantically linked to Kanye West and Drake
Julia Fox is getting candid about her sex life.
A TikTok featuring photos of a highly-discussed Bumble advertising campaign — in which billboards around major cities including Los Angeles told potential dating app users that "A vow of celibacy is not the answer" — went viral after it was posted on May 11. It has sparked a discussion about intimacy and dating.
"Imagine pretending to be a Dating App FOR WOMEN and launching a million dollar ad campaign BLAMING WOMEN for a very normal reaction to mens violence," the caption of the viral TikTok post — which was viewed over 1.8 million times — read.
Fox then chimed in underneath the post in the comments on Sunday, May 12.
"2.5 years of celibacy and never been better tbh," Fox, 34, wrote in the comment section of the TikTok video.
The Uncut Gems actress has previously been candid about her relationships over those two and a half years — specifically about her relationship with Kanye West. During an interview with the New York Times in September 2023, ahead of the release of her memoir Down the Drain, Fox said she didn't discuss her sex life with West, 46, in the book simply because "there wasn't any."
The model met West, who now goes by Ye, on New Year's Eve in 2021 and dated him for less than two months, though they made public appearances together during that time. A source told PEOPLE on Valentine's Day 2022 that Fox and West were "no longer together."
Before going out with Ye, Fox was married to ex-husband Peter Artemiev from 2018 to 2020, and after their split, she welcomed her son Valentino, now 3. Soon after her divorce, the model teased a brief bling with superstar musician Drake. Back in February 2022, though, she appeared on Forbidden Fruits podcast and said "nothing really happened" in their relationship.
"He's a great guy and a gentleman... and that was it. Nothing really happened, we were just, like, friends hanging out," Fox said of the Scorpion rapper, adding, "I wouldn't say that we were dating."

Fox also recently spoke with PEOPLE ahead of the premiere of E!'s forthcoming competition series OMG Fashun. The actress serves as an executive producer, judge and host for the series.
OMG Fashun, set to air later this month, will see aspiring fashion designers competing against each other to create sustainable designs out of unconventional materials. Fox will act as their muse each episode and then model their designs.
"I think people will be blown away by what [the designers] are able to create out of everyday items that often go overlooked," she says of what to expect from the show, which she's judging alongside celebrity stylist Law Roach. "No one would ever think that saran wrap or what's in your junk drawer or leaves could make a cute outfit, but they do."
