Jordan Chan confirms the birth of his son
2 Jun – Jordan Chan recently confirmed that wife Cherrie Ying has given birth to their second child.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who spoke to the media outside the hospital recently, stated that his actress wife delivered their baby via Caesarean section on 29 May and that he was fortunate enough to witness the whole procedure.
However, despite being more psychologically prepared compared to when son Jasper was born, Jordan said that he still didn't dare cutting the umbilical cord himself and instead let the professionals do it for him.
"It's the same as before, my wife gave birth via operation. It's really hard for a woman to have a smooth delivery," he said.
When asked what Jasper thinks about the baby, whom the couple have nicknamed HoHo, the actor said that his son was originally happy, but immediately became jealous upon seeing his younger brother.
Asked if he and Cherrie have plans to try for a girl in the future, Jordan stated, "It is hard enough to take care of two children."
