The Britain's Got Talent winner revealed: "The pain's not the problem. The problem is when you're so scared you have a nipple instead of a penis between your legs and then the nurse tries to tape it to your stomach, but there's not much to tape so she basically places a piece of tape over it."
The couple married in August last year, a year later than originally planned due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
They are parents to four-year-old son Cassius and three-year-old daughter Mayowa.
They are expecting another son, due in April.
A conventional vasectomy involves local anaesthetic and an incision in the scrotum to remove a small section of the tubes which carry sperm from the testicles during ejaculation.
The contraceptive procedure can be performed at a GP surgery or sexual health clinic and does not require being admitted overnight. Recovery time can be as short as 24 hours.
Vasectomies are not always 100 per cent effective and while the procedure can be reversed it is not always possible. But male sterilisation is a much less invasive and risky process than female sterilisation.
Banjo rose to fame with dance troupe Diversity when they won BGT in 2009.
In 2016 he came fourth on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
He has presented on talent shows Got To Dance, Dancing On Ice and The Greatest Dancer.
