Joey King Says She Couldn't Date Another Actor After Jacob Elordi
Joey King just got super real about her dating life after her breakup with Jacob Elordi.
Although their spilt was very private, Joey doesn't seem to have any bad blood with her ex based on her recent interview on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show.
"I think it’s a good thing we dated in the first place. I learned the most I’ve ever learned in my life from him," she said.
When asked if she would ever date another actor ever again, she said that she couldn't.
"I think that it’s awesome to date someone in your field, who gets it, but doing the same exact thing as somebody is tough. It’s really tough," Joey continued.
Fans have also been shipping her and her other The Kissing Booth co-star, Taylor Zakhar Perez. While Taylor said that he totally wouldn't mind dating Joey one day, it looks like that won't be happening any time soon, especially since Joey also recently revealed that she is currently taken. Joey has linked to producer Steven Piet and it's likely that they are still dating at the moment, however, they haven't posted a photo together since March.
Recently, Joey deleted a tweet mentioning Jacob and revealing that he had in fact seen The Kissing Booth 2 after saying that he didn't in a recent interview. However, she also admitted on the The Howard Stern Show that he actually gave her permission to tweet it out.
"He had a good sense of humor about that tweet, for sure," she said.
So while their relationship didn't work out, it seems like the two are still pretty good friends.
