Joel Chan is not thinking about winning TV King just yet

27 May – Although he was universally praised for his performance in the TVB thriller, "Brutally Young", Joel Chan said that he would not think too much about his chances at the TVB Anniversary Awards.

As reported on On CC, the actor who played the role of gangster Sum King Yat in the said series, stated that there are months to go before the upcoming awards, which means there will be other interesting dramas and performances from other actors that have yet to be seen.

"I don't think about it anyway, since there is still a lot of time. Right now, I am more excited about the upcoming birth of my baby," he said, adding that he has been busy preparing everything for the arrival of his first child.

Stressing that his family is his main priority, Joel also admitted that he will work even harder to make more money for them.

"I hope that my wife and son can live a healthy and secured life," he added.

Joel was nominated in the Best Actor category last year, but lost his chance to "Big White Duel" star, Kenneth Ma.
