Joel Chan to appear in Charmaine Sheh's new drama?
22 Feb – It was reported that Joel Chan is also set to appear in the upcoming Charmaine Sheh TVB comeback vehicle alongside two other TVB stars.
According to Oriental Daily, sources recently revealed that the upcoming series, which will see Charmaine playing a TV anchor, will have Selena Lee, Samantha Ko, Venus Wong, and Regina Ho starring alongside her in a drama about the infighting among female anchors.
In addition to the actresses, it was said that Joel, who recently won Best Actor at the TVB Anniversary Awards, will also be portraying a role alongside two other big stars - Kenneth Ma and Shaun Tam.
When asked about it, Joel stated, "Actually, I have not officially accepted the notice and I am still filming my new drama ["Death Hint"]. But it's rare to have both Charmaine and Selena coming back to do a drama, so even if it's a guest role, it doesn't matter. I will look forward to working with both of them."
When mentioned that he may play a role that he has never done before, the actor responded, "That's great. I really love playing roles that I have never done before and challenge myself."
