Joe Rogan Says He Has Not Endorsed Robert Kennedy Jr. — But Donald Trump Is Irritated By His Praise For Independent Rival

Joe Rogan tried to clarify his praiseworthy comments about Robert Kennedy Jr. this week, leading to the belief that the podcast host was endorsing the independent candidate’s presidential bid.

“For the record, this isn’t an endorsement. This is me saying that I like RFKjr as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence. I think we could use more of that in this world,” Rogan posted on X today, amid a backlash from comments he made earlier. “He’s the only one that makes sense to me,” Rogan said in a clip that spread across social media. “He doesn’t attack people. He attacks actions and ideas, but he’s much more reasonable and intelligent.”

His praise of RFK Jr. did not sit well with Donald Trump, who wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, “It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring??? MAGA2024”

In his post today, Rogan also sought to temper his earlier comments by offering words of praise for the former president.

“I also think Trump raising his fist and saying, ‘fight!” after getting shot is one of the most American f—ing things of all time,” Rogan wrote. “I’m not the guy to get political information from.” He recommend people turn to comic Dave Smith.

But Smith was irked at the backlash against Rogan. “Trump supporters have a lot of nerve flipping out because Joe Rogan said some nice things about RFK,” he wrote, before slamming Trump for Covid lockdowns.

“I’m not endorsing Bobby Kennedy (neither is Joe btw) but he can support whoever the hell he wants to and if people who are voting for President lockdown warp speed have a problem, maybe they should consider the possibility that their guy should be less awful on stuff,” he wrote.

Trump supporters have a lot of nerve flipping out because @joerogan said some nice things about RFK.
