Joe Alwyn Seen at an Airport in France After Promoting Upcoming Movie at the Cannes Film Festival
The English actor's movie 'Kinds of Kindness' premiered at the film event
Joe Alwyn is all smiles following his appearance at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
The actor, 33, was spotted at an airport in Nice, France, on Sunday, May 19, after his movie Kinds of Kindness premiered at the 77th annual film event.
He was photographed in the airport terminal wearing an oversized pink shirt and jeans, which he accessorized with a large bag over his shoulder and a pair of sunglasses.
Directed and written by Yorgos Lanthimos, the movie features an all-star cast, including Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Jesse Plemons, Hong Chau and more.
Alwyn opened up about working with the director, who also helmed the 2023 four-time Oscar Award-winning drama Poor Things, during a press conference at the festival on Saturday, May 18.
"I just trust him," Alwyn said. "Reading the script, it's bizarre and strange and bonkers and special, of course, but to try and unpack it too much, I think you'd just get stuck in your head."
He added, "One of the reasons I love his film is you feel it first, rather than try to intellectually unpack it. And so I just kind of trust the world that he's building and follow whatever direction he gives, and feel lucky to be there."

The English actor previously collaborated with Lanthimos, 50, and Stone, 35, in the 2018 movie The Favourite.
Alwyn's additional credits include Boy Erased and Catherine Called Birdy, as well as the Hulu series Conversations With Friends.
