Joanna Gaines stays true to her hospital cravings.

In a video clip of her show, Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines posted to Instagram on Saturday, July 6, the cookbook author, 46, shared that she had an "odd tradition" every time she had to go to the hospital to deliver one of her five kids.

"....You stay the night. And for me, it was like, 'I just gave birth to an 8-pound human, I need to eat some food' and Chicken Cordon Bleu was always my choice from the cafeteria," she said in the clip while preparing her version of the Swiss chicken dish that features breaded chicken, ham and swiss cheese.

She also speculated if any of her children would join the family business one day.

“Obviously at some point it'd be so fun to have one or two of our kids work with us, but that's definitely not what we're saying out loud to them,” she said at the time. "Chip is really good at saying, 'You need your own identity. When you're finished with college, go do some stuff on your own. Learn some stuff. And then if you want to come back years later and teach us, we're here.'"
