If you're currently watching Joe Biden's inauguration, you already know that the momentous event is, amongst other things, practically brimming with fashion lewks. As we speak, Twitter is having an absolute field day with Lady Gaga's supremely extra gown (making more than a few Hunger Games references) and Jennifer Lopez's designer 'fit is another truly iconic get-up.
For her performance of 'This Land Is Your Land' and 'America the Beautiful' - with a quick nod to 'Let's Get Loud' - J.Lo stepped out in head-to-toe white. The elegant Chanel coat, complete with the house's statement silver buttons, was left unbuttoned to reveal a sheer ruffle collared blouse.
Unlike Gaga, who opted for a voluminous, pigmented dress, Jennifer went for a more monotone look featuring matching white sequin trousers (er, BIG yes). The whole outfit was then bedazzled with copious amounts of pearl jewellery. Ah, what a time to be alive.
If we had to describe it in one word, which doesn't feel quite possible but we'll try, the outfit was perfection. Don't cha think?

Oh, and just when you thought this look couldn't get any more stylish, Jennifer whips out a matching white beret and fancy gloves when she's chilling with Alex Rodriguez post-performance (!!):
It's been one helluva eventful day for J.Lo who, just hours earlier, wore another 'fit on the stairs of The Capitol: a second Chanel look, this time featuring a houndstooth print - monochrome appears to be the order of the day:
