JJ Lin accidentally splashed with ink while giving autograph to fan, clothes reportedly worth more than $3,000
The Singapore singer remained cool about the situation, and still gave the autograph as well as posed for a photo.
It wasn’t a splashing good time for local singer JJ Lin when he stopped to give an autograph to a female fan recently.
According to media reports, the 42-year-old had returned to Singapore from Bangkok, and the fan met him at the airport. She supposedly didn’t keep her distance from the singer, and requested for an autograph.
While doing so, the singer was accidentally splashed with ink from the pen, with a photo on Weibo showing ink spots on his neck and face mask. It was reported that his clothes were also stained.
The fan held onto his wrist and tried to wipe the stains off, but was stopped by his security team.

After the incident, she revealed that when the singer tried to use the pen, it appeared to be out of ink.
She then took the pen and shook it to get some ink out, but it splattered on Lin. The fan admitted that she was apologetic about the whole incident.
As for Lin, reports said that he remained cool about the situation and also took a photo with the fan in addition to the autograph.
Photos shared on Weibo showed the singer removing his vest that was also stained. His vest is reportedly a pink Prada vest worth $3,850.
The singer was most recently seen onstage with Ed Sheeran during his concert in Singapore on 16 Feb. Lin appeared as a guest performer and the duo sang his song, Twilight.
Sheeran also surprised the crowd by singing part of the chorus in Mandarin.
