Jimmy Lin is now recuperating at home

29 Aug – Jimmy Lin finally broke his silence following his car accident to tell fans that he is now recovering well.

On 26 August, the singer, actor and car enthusiast took to social media to update fans of his situation for the first time, writing, "This is Jimmy Lin. I am very thankful for everyone's concern during this period of time. I am now recuperating at home."

In the same post, he thanked those who helped him and his son Jensen after the accident, as well as the encouragement and well-wishes he received from fans and friends alike.

"Finally, please give me and my family some more time and space. At the moment, I just want to spend time with my family. Please don't believe unproven rumours. I will take a good rest and recover," he added.

Jimmy spent nearly two weeks in ICU at the Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital after a fiery crash that occurred back in late July, when the Tesla he was driving crashed into an electrical pole in Taoyuan City.
