Jimmy Kimmel admits he missed on out some cool dad points despite surprising his kids with Olivia Rodrigo.

As a guest on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Thursday, Oct. 10, the talk show host, 56, detailed the moment he and wife Molly McNearney surprised their daughter Jane, 10, and son William John "Billy," 7, with a surprise car ride with the "Drivers License" singer, 21.

"We actually did a fun thing where we pretended we had a loner car, and we put cameras in the car, and then we drove them to school as we typically do in the morning," the dad of four begins. "But there was a hitchhiker on the way to school and that hitchhiker was my daughter's very favorite, Olivia Rodrigo."

Impressed, Hudson asked, "Oh you got to be the coolest dad for that. Did you get any cool points?"

"You'd would think I would get a lot of cool points for that, but they don't associate me with that happening in any way," he replied.

Kimmel continued to explain his children's way of thinking, sharing, "It's just like, yeah well sure, she got in the car with us. I do not get any credit now that you bring that up."

"I got no credit at all!" he exclaimed.

After noting that Billy is "doing great" following his third open heart surgery in May, Kimmel proceeded to joke that his son is a "weird kid."

"He's constantly squeezing his mother's ass," he shared with a laugh. "He says, 'It's so juicy.'"
