Jimmy Kimmel Says New Document Trove Finally Answers 1 Key Question About Trump
Jimmy Kimmel spent much of his Wednesday night monologue diving into the newly released court documents showing the “increasingly desperate” moves by Donald Trump as he tried to steal the 2020 election.
The 165-page filing from special counsel Jack Smith offers new and explicit details on the strategies and actions of Trump and those around him before and after the election.
“Sometimes I would wonder, does Trump really believe that this election was stolen from him?” Kimmel said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” “And the answer is no, he doesn’t. His plan all along was to declare himself the winner even if he wasn’t.”
Kimmel said the documents show exactly what Trump was up to.
“He deliberately spread lies, even though he privately admitted they were crazy lies,” Kimmel said. “He was directly involved in the fake electors scheme, and he stole all the Oreos from the White House snack cabinet.”
