Jimmy Dean’s New Biscuit Roll-Ups Are The Portable Breakfast You’ve Been Waiting For
Breakfast on the go is a constant struggle. Hot coffee is subject to spill. Granola bars aren’t always filling. And don’t even get me started on balancing avocado toast in one hand and a steering wheel in the other. Breakfast sandwiches feel like a natural pick, and Jimmy Dean is taking that accessible bite to the next level with the release of its new Jimmy Dean Biscuit Roll-Ups.
The new product comes in two varieties: One is ham, the other sausage. Both roll-ups include a breakfast meat, egg, and cheese swaddled like a delicate delight in a “soft and flaky” biscuit dough crust. From looking at the packaging, it kind of feels like the lovechild of a breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito. It affords you the comfort of a biscuit with the ease of a wrap.
A 12.8-oz. box includes eight roll-ups and costs roughly $5 at Target. According to an image of the box on the retailer’s website, a roll-up can be heated in the microwave for only 50-60 seconds before it’s ready to fulfill its morning mission. Right now, they're not available for purchase online, but that could change-keep your eyes open.
But before you decide to relish in your roll-up discovery, keep in mind that, so far, the Jimmy Dean Biscuit Roll-Ups are only available at a few retailers, including Target. Jimmy Dean doesn’t even have its breakfast innovation on the company website yet.
