Jewish and Muslim women unite against hate on anniversary of October 7 attacks

Jewish and Muslim women came together on Sunday, 6 October, to mark one year since the October 7 attack in Israel.

The group met at St John’s Church in Waterloo, London, speaking of their “exhaustion”, “pain” and “suffering”.

As well as marking the anniversary, they came together to help “stop the hate on (Britain’s) streets”.

Laura Marks, co-founder of the Nisa-Nashim Jewish and Muslim Women’s Network, said: “We came together today to say whatever is going on in the Middle East, here we don’t have to hate. We must build a society here which is safe.”
