Jessica Capshaw Says the Value Steven Spielberg Brings to His Grandkids 'Outweighs' His Fame: 'He's the Best'

Jessica Capshaw's kids can't get enough of their grandpa Steven Spielberg.

The Grey's Anatomy star and stepdaughter of Spielberg, 47, opened up about her kids' relationship with the famous filmmaker, 77, as a guest on the Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast on Wednesday, July 10.

"The kids talk about him all the time,"' she said of her four children Luke, 16, Eve, 13, Poppy, 12, and Josephine, 8. "They just think he's the sweetest and the cutest and they just are so proud of it."

She shared that the kids are aware of Spielberg's fame, but it's nowhere near what they value most about him. "Yes, the bigness of it, they get that… but the value that he has to them as their grandfather clearly so far outweighs that, that it's not the thing that they talk about."

She added, "They really talk about how he makes them feel, which is, you know, he's the best."

Capshaw recently scored some major mom points, when she brought her youngest daughter Josephine backstage at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour stop in Paris.

She posed with Josephine and Swift, 34, in a photo shared on Capshaw's Instagram on May 15. Wearing a night sky-themed mini dress, Capshaw had her arm around Swift, who placed a hand on Josephine's shoulder.

The three appeared to pose together backstage at Swift's Paris Eras Tour concert in the sweet pic, with Josephine wearing a Taylor Swift T-shirt and sparkly cowboy boots. Capshaw also included photos of herself and Josephine as they visited various tour sites around Paris, taking in the City of Love.

"Cause we were in Paris.. 💕," Capshaw wrote in her caption.
