Jess Lee laughs off wedding rumours
26 May – Malaysian singer Jess Lee has laughed off rumours saying that she is now married to her non-showbiz boyfriend of five years.
The singer, who is based in Taiwan, took to social media to refute the rumour on 25 May, saying that she woke up to text messages on her smart phone filled with congratulatory messages.
"I thought it was because of the new song and how well it was doing, but it turned out that my enthusiastic media reporter friends helped me upgrade to a wife. I don't know whether to laugh or to cry," she wrote.
"Dear everyone, I really only have a stable relationship, not married! But I am a mother... There are two furry children at present..." she added, showing off her two beloved dogs in the photos that came with the post.
It is noted that the singer has just recently released her new song, "Soar".
