Jeremy Saulnier Signs With Grandview
EXCLUSIVE: Jeremy Saulnier has signed with Grandview for representation.
Saulnier, whose credits include directing the first two episodes of True Detective Season 3 and features including Green Room, currently serves as director, writer, producer, and editor on the feature film Rebel Ridge, starring Aaron Pierre, AnnaSophia Robb and Don Johnson. The high-velocity thriller follows a former Marine as he grapples his way through a web of small-town corruption when an attempt to post bail for his cousin escalates into a violent standoff with the local police chief.

Saulnier made his feature directorial debut with Murder Party, which received rave reviews and won the Audience Award for Best Feature at the 2007 Slamdance Film Festival. In 2013, he wrote and directed Blue Ruin, which won the Fipresci Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for the John Cassavetes Award at the Film Independent Spirit Awards.
He followed that up with writing and directing Green Room, which starred Patrick Stewart, Anton Yelchin and Imogen Poots. That film, which premiered at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes and was released by A24, garnered critical acclaim and appeared on several critics’ lists as one of the best films of 2016.
Most recently, Saulnier directed the feature film Hold the Dark starring Alexander Skarsgård, Jeffrey Wright and Riley Keough; it world premiered at the Toronto Film Festival before being released by Netflix.
He continues to be represented by CAA and Granderson Des Rochers.
